Looking ahead, the developer's September 16 roadmap lists two planned free updates and DLC #1 without release dates; DLC #2 is still to be announced. Build 3682 fixes a warehouse entrance, missing vehicles after underground parking, a mover/installation-firm vehicle assignment issue, handtruck interactions, and employee resignation messages. Build 3680 added delivery-order total costs, clarified import eligibility in the new-business UI, added employee environmental demands to MyEmployees filters, and fixed several bathroom, stock-alert, installation, and navigation issues. The developer's Living Roadmap image separates released 1.0 features from planned free updates and DLC. It gives no release dates for the planned items. The developer says roadmap items are a look at current work, not promises; features may change or be removed, and release dates are estimates.

- Read the build number on the game's main menu and compare it with the dated table above.
- If the save is below 3682, open Steam's Downloads page, apply the available Big Ambitions update, then relaunch and recheck the build before following newer instructions.
- If the save is newer than 3682, open the later official Steam announcement for that build; if it matches 3682, use the linked Build 3682 hotfix notes. Planned roadmap items have no release date and may change, so do not plan a purchase or business route around them until an official release announcement confirms availability.
